In June 2026 I joined Cannon, an ITT Company, in Irvine, California as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, working in manufacturing documentation and process control.
Production Data & CAD Management
I manage CAD models and production data across Creo Parametric, Windchill, and SAP, keeping engineering records and shop floor documentation aligned as designs move through revision.
Additive Manufacturing Documentation
I wrote the Manufacturing Work Instructions covering every additive manufacturing process on site, and curated a company-wide lunch-and-learn on design for additive manufacturing (DfAM) to broaden how the teams around me approach part design.
Process Control & Quality
I authored a controlled SOP for fixture and tooling lifecycle, storage, and inventory, applying PFMEA throughout, to close gaps in the site's 5S strategy. I also developed control documents for the UV and CO2 lasers used in precision cable production for military applications.
GD&T Training
I received formal training in the ASME Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standard.
